Stachybotrys

Stachybotrys can produce potent toxins. Some allege, therefore, that this fungus is an airborne hazard. Although this opinion has achieved much media attention, the importance of Stachybotrys as an airborne toxic hazard has not been adequately substantiated in the scientific literature.
