Bulk/Swab Samples
Bulk and swab (surface) samples are useful tools in indoor air quality investigations and are typically used to evaluate the potential of a source to allow microbial growth. Bulk samples complement air samples in an indoor air quality investigation. If conditions are present that allow microorganisms to amplify, then that material has the potential to be a source of bioaerosols.
